This trip really went above what I expected. From that first ride through Seoul streets to biking along the coast near Sokcho, every day felt totally different. The Han River at sunset was unforgettable, and the BBQ night at the glamping park… wow. Our guide kept everything easy and fun, and honestly by the end of it the group felt more like friends than strangers.
I signed up mostly for the cycling but the history and culture side made it so much more. Seeing the DMZ in the morning then riding the Han River at night, that contrast was wild. The pine forests, the countryside, and the coastline all had their own charm. The night ride through Gyeongju with the old tombs lit up… just incredible. This tour is a must if you want something more than just sightseeing.
I’ve done cycling tours in Europe, but Korea hit different. One day you’re in the forest, the next you’re on cliffs by the sea, then ending up in crazy Busan. The balance of biking, free time and sightseeing was spot on. My favorite memory? Sitting on the beach in Busan after a long day’s ride, beer in hand, watching the fountain show with new friends. Perfect ending.
Honestly the best way to see Korea. Riding through Seoul, then those quiet countryside paths, then the ocean views—it kept surprising me every day. I loved the mix: history at the DMZ, wandering through markets, even getting the chance to try taekwondo before our farewell dinner.
