Enjoy a stroll through the vibrant Gongdeok district, followed by a delicious Korean hotpot dinner. Later, explore the Cheonggyecheon Stream or nearby night markets at your leisure.
Start your day at Gyeongbokgung Palace and stroll through the traditional hanoks of Bukchon Village. Then, enjoy a private food experience at Daniel Gray’s home, featuring Korean culinary history, tastings, and hands-on cooking. In the afternoon, hear a moving personal story from a North Korean defector. Spend your evening exploring Myeongdong or relaxing at your own pace.
Begin the day with a powerful visit to the DMZ, where you’ll explore the Third Tunnel of Aggression and Imjingak Peace Park, learning about Korea’s division and hope for reunification. After lunch, travel to Jeonju, the cultural heart of Korea and home of bibimbap. Enjoy dinner at a renowned local spot known for serving Korea’s most authentic version of this iconic dish.
Start your day with Jeonju’s beloved beansprout rice soup, then head to Damyang for a peaceful walk through its lush bamboo forest—and a taste of unique bamboo ice cream. Enjoy a delicious lunch of tteok galbi, followed by a visit to a cozy local café or a stroll through town. Meet a brassware artisan, explore a nearby hanok village, and end the day at your own pace—whether relaxing or discovering local favorites.
After breakfast, journey to Gayasan National Park for an overnight stay at the sacred Haeinsa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for housing over 80,000 wooden Buddhist scriptures. Upon arrival, share tea with a resident monk and learn about temple life. Explore the grounds on a guided walk, enjoy a tranquil group dinner, and end the evening with a calming meditation session before resting in the peaceful temple setting.
After departing the serene Haeinsa Temple, travel south to the scenic Shinan archipelago, beginning with a heartfelt visit to a local coastal home for a glimpse into daily life. Continue to Mokpo, a historic port city where you’ll ride Korea’s longest coastal cable car for panoramic views over Yudal Mountain. Walk through Manho Village, known for its vintage charm and lively fish market. In the evening, explore Mokpo’s waterfront, dine on fresh seafood, or simply unwind by the sea.
After breakfast, head to Mokpo Harbor and board a ferry to Jeju Island. Upon arrival, explore the island’s eastern coast, starting with a refreshing stop at a local orange farm. Then visit Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), a dramatic volcanic crater and Korea’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering stunning views of Udo Island, Hallasan, and the coastline. On your way back, stop by a Jeju folk village before enjoying a free evening at your leisure.
After breakfast, continue exploring Jeju’s western coast, beginning with a visit to a scenic green tea farm, perfect for photos and learning about local tea culture. In the afternoon, admire the towering Sanbangsan Mountain, a mystical lava dome often veiled in clouds. Then, walk a section of the Olleh hiking trail, where layered sandstone cliffs offer surreal coastal views. A special meeting follows with a Haenyno—Jeju’s legendary female divers—who share stories of their unique fishing tradition. End the day with a celebratory black pork BBQ dinner with your group.

Why travelers loved this
Had such a great day on this tour! The railbike ride was super fun (a bit of a workout but worth it) and Nami Island was just beautiful with all the tree lined paths. The Garden of Morning Calm was peaceful and stunning, I could’ve stayed there for hours. Everything was easy from pick up to drop off, our guide made it smooth n fun. Def reccomend if you want a break from the city.
Loved this day trip! The railbike was such a fun start, pedaling through tunnels with great views by the river. Nami Island was even prettier than the pics I’d seen online, those tree paths are unreal. The Garden of Morning Calm was my fav tho, so calm and colorful. Long day but totally worth it.
If you’re into food as much as sights, this trip hits both. After the railbike we went over to Nami and I grabbed some dak galbi there (so good). The Garden of Morning Calm was gorgeous too, full of colors and quiet paths. Whole day had a nice mix of fun, food n nature — def one of my favs in Korea.
The best part of the Nami tour for me was just walking those tree lined paths, felt like stepping into a storybook. The railbike ride earlier was a blast, tunnels + river views made it so fun. Ending the day at the Garden of Morning Calm was perfect, so peaceful and colorful. Great mix of adventure and chill, I’d reccomend it to anyone visiting Korea.
