Private Day Tour – Your Personalized Journey in Korea

Looking for a custom adventure in Korea? Our Private Day Tour offers a fully personalized experience, including a tailored itinerary, private transportation, and a dedicated driving guide for the day—all for $500 USD/person within Seoul. Whether you’re exploring top sights or discovering hidden local gems, we’ve got your day covered. For trips outside of Seoul, a fuel surcharge applies, and costs for food, activities, and admission are separate.

Traveling with a larger group? No problem—minibus options are available for an added fee. While our founder may be available to lead your tour (upon request and subject to availability), our team of personally trained guides is ready to offer an equally warm and insightful experience.

Bonus Experience: Korean Homestay Meal
For returning guests and families, we sometimes offer a special homestay visit at our home. Enjoy home-cooked Korean food, connect with locals, and let the kids play in the neighborhood. This exclusive add-on is available by request only and subject to availability.

Schedule Details

Optional: Bukchon Hanok Village

Step into a living postcard at Bukchon Hanok Village, where winding alleyways lead you through a charming neighborhood of traditional Korean houses, or hanok. Nestled between palaces and modern skyscrapers, this hidden gem offers a rare glimpse into Korea’s past, with beautifully preserved homes, artisan workshops, and stunning city views. It’s the perfect place to slow down, soak in the culture, and snap that unforgettable photo.

Optional: North Korea refugee family visit

Gain a rare and moving perspective on Korea’s history by visiting the home of a North Korean refugee. Over tea and heartfelt conversation, hear personal stories of resilience and hope that bring the past into powerful focus—an unforgettable encounter that goes far beyond the guidebooks.

Optional: Seoraksan Mountain Hike

Seoraksan Mountain, one of Korea’s most iconic natural wonders, offers breathtaking views, dramatic granite peaks, and vibrant forests that change with the seasons. Whether you're hiking scenic trails or riding the cable car for panoramic vistas, a visit to Seoraksan is a refreshing escape into Korea’s wild beauty.

Optional: Haedong Temple

Perched dramatically on the rocky coastline, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple offers a rare blend of ocean views and spiritual serenity. Unlike most temples nestled in the mountains, this seaside sanctuary invites visitors to take in crashing waves, colorful lanterns, and centuries-old Buddhist architecture—all in one breathtaking setting. It’s a peaceful yet awe-inspiring stop that captures the soul of Korea.

Optional: Gamcheon Art Village

Once a hillside neighborhood of modest homes, Gamcheon Art Village has transformed into a vibrant maze of color, creativity, and community spirit. Winding alleys are now adorned with murals, quirky sculptures, and hidden galleries, inviting you to explore every corner like a living canvas. It’s a perfect blend of local culture, street art, and playful discovery in the heart of Busan.

Optional: Haenyeo (female diver) visit in Busan

Stop by the local Haenyeo community center, where you’ll sit down with a retired sea diver to hear firsthand stories of her underwater adventures, how Busan has transformed over the years, and what life looks like for her today.

Optional: Night cruise in Busan

Experience Busan from a whole new perspective on a night cruise along its glittering coastline. As the city lights dance across the water, glide past iconic landmarks and under illuminated bridges, soaking in the cool sea breeze and stunning skyline views. It’s the perfect way to unwind and see the city’s beauty come alive after dark.

Optional: Demilitarized Zone (DMZ/South Korea)

Step into history with a visit to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), one of the most fascinating and symbolic borders in the world. As you explore this divided region, gain a deeper understanding of Korea’s complex history and the ongoing tensions between North and South Korea. Walk through tunnels, visit key observation points, and witness firsthand the powerful story of a nation separated by conflict. It’s a truly eye-opening experience that offers a rare glimpse into a world still marked by division.
